According to to the British daily, the Gunners have tabled a fresh offer for Zaha.
The Independent report that Arsenal have offered cash plus Reiss Nelson for the Ivory Coast international:
Arsenal have most recently suggested a £55m deal with £10m dependent on clauses, as well as highly-rated Reiss Nelson on loan as a temporary replacement for Zaha, but the Selhurst Park club have insisted this is nowhere near enough.

What’s wrong with Arsenal’s Zaha offer?
Crystal Palace appear to have two issues with Arsenal’s latest Zaha bid.
Firstly, the Eagles aren’t interested in taking any players on loan from Arsenal.
Should any players be included in the Zaha deal, Palace aren’t interested in loan deals – only permanent signings.
In that regard, Arsenal don’t seem willing to part with Reiss Nelson.
Instead, the Independent note that “Carl Jenkinson has been mooted as a possibility.”
Secondly, Palace value Zaha far higher that Arsenal’s last bid.
It’s been widely reported this summer that the Eagles believe Zaha is worth 80 million pounds.
Who is Reiss Nelson?
Reiss Nelson is a 19-year-old forward who grew up in Arsenal’s academy.
Nelson spent last season on loan at Hoffenheim. During his time in Germany, he scored seven goals.
Will Nelson be involved in Unai Emery’s first team this season?
It seems hard to see how Nelson breaks into the XI anytime soon.
Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are Arsenal’s main forwards, while Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi are just some of the players seemingly above Nelson in the Gunners’ pecking order.
