Crystal Palace squad update ahead of Wolves

Palace vs Wolves

The Eagles are set to welcome Wolves to Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon, for a Premier League clash.

Both sides will head into proceedings in search of an immediate bounce-back performance.

Visitors Wolves’ dismal opening to the campaign continued over the last week, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s men having followed a 5-2 drubbing at the hands of Chelsea last weekend with a further defeat in their Europa League curtain-raiser last night.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, also fell to a demoralising loss last time out, when the capital outfit were put to the sword in comprehensive fashion at Tottenham.

Palace boosted

The Eagles’ hopes of getting back on track on Sunday afternoon, though, have today been boosted.

Speaking in a press conference a short time ago, Roy Hodgson provided a fitness update on his squad.
And it was positive news all-round for Palace, with Hodgson having a full panel to choose from, save for Connor Wickham:
Kelly (groin) and McArthur have returned to the pitches. “With the exception of Wickham (ankle), who returns to training early next week, we have a full squad.” Scott Dann (hand) is available while James Tomkins will have benefited from another week of work. #CPFC

Hodgson: “It’s taken Kouyate a while to recover from that twisted ankle, but he’s made a remarkable recovery and trained with the squad today.” #CPFC
